Special program at Umang Vatika on Women’s Day, discussion on women’s rights and empowerment.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, a special program was held on Sunday in the auditorium of Umang Vatika at Nawada Mod. The program was organized by the Omnus Development Foundation, led by Champa Devi. Its purpose was to raise awareness about women’s rights, respect, and empowerment, and to inspire them to become self-reliant.

Illegal sand mining flourishes in the Meral area, raising questions about the role of the administration.
These days, there are reports of a large-scale illegal sand trade in the Meral police station area. It is being reported that sand is being illegally lifted from the Balchaura Ghat of the Kanhar River at night and transported via tipper trucks and heavy vehicles to several nearby villages, including Gerua, Hasandag, and Meral, all within the Meral police station area.
