Shri Banshidhar Nagar: National Highway 75 on Thursday morning But near Palhe Kala village, a speeding car lost control and hit an electric pole. The driver escaped unhurt. He barely suffered a scratch, although the front of the car was completely destroyed.
According to information received, Surendra Gupta, a resident of Sukhbana village in the Garhwa police station area, had driven his car (number JH 01 FH 7326) to his brother-in-law’s house in Shri Banshidhar Nagar for Holi. He was returning home on Thursday after Holi.
Meanwhile, near Palhe Kala village, while trying to avoid an oncoming vehicle, his car went out of control and hit a roadside electric pole. The impact was so severe that the front of the car was shattered.
After the incident, people from the vicinity rushed to the scene. It was a relief that no one else was in the car except the driver, and the driver was not seriously injured.
