Ramna: Lalan Chandravanshi, a 46-year-old laborer and resident of Jhurha village—located within the Bhagodih Panchayat of the Ramna block in Garhwa district—met an untimely death while working at a plant in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. As news of the incident reached the village, an atmosphere of deep mourning enveloped his family members.
According to his relatives, Lalan Chandravanshi had traveled to Singrauli to work as a laborer. It is reported that he had been complaining of abdominal pain for the past few days. On Friday night, his health suddenly deteriorated. Fellow laborers were rushing him to a doctor for treatment, but he passed away en route. When his mortal remains arrived in the village on Saturday evening, the atmosphere became heavy with grief as his family members wailed in sorrow. The deceased was the sole earning member of his family; consequently, this tragedy has cast an immense burden of sorrow upon them.
Upon learning of the incident, several individuals—including District Council Chairperson Shanti Devi, MLA Representative Rohit Verma, Anuj Kumar, Prabhat Kumar, Ajay Paswan, Chandan Pal, Nandu Mehta, Raja Ram Mehta, and Lalman Mehta—visited the deceased’s home. They offered their condolences to the bereaved family and expressed their profound grief over this tragic event.
