District President Lavkush Prajapati stated that keeping in mind major festivals like Holi, the demand for timely payment has been made so that the families of Panchayat assistants can celebrate the festival smoothly. He added that the payment of honorarium on major festivals like Holi and Eid will provide financial support to the employees.
He also stated that incentives and honorarium payments are pending for previous financial years, including the financial year 2025-26. Due to this non-payment, Panchayat Assistants are facing significant difficulties in supporting their families.
The union has demanded from the administration that immediate payment of the pending amount should be ensured, so that the Panchayat assistants can get relief.
