Majhiyan, representative: On Wednesday evening at around 5:45 pm, during the weekly market, chaos erupted near Muna Soni’s shop on Main Road when a woman was caught red-handed stealing. According to reports, the woman was carrying stolen goods from a utensil shop when the shopkeeper caught her.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, a crowd of people gathered at the spot.
During interrogation, it was discovered that the woman had stolen utensils from the shop. She was accompanied by her approximately 7-year-old daughter and a younger child approximately 5 years old.
The shopkeeper immediately informed the police about this.
Upon receiving the information, police arrived at the scene and took the woman into custody along with the stolen goods. Both children were also taken to the police station under the supervision of a female watchman.
The woman is being interrogated by the police and investigation is underway to find out where she is from.
It’s worth noting that a few months ago, another woman was caught stealing an aluminum pan from this same shop and was later handed over to the police. Such incidents have caused concern among shopkeepers in the market. The police have launched an investigation into the matter.
