Shri Banshidhar Nagar: Holi, the festival of colors, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy. In this context, a grand Holi Milan celebration was organized for the first time on the occasion of Holi at the Nagar Untari police station premises. At the event, the police administration, city dignitaries, businesspeople, and local citizens came together to celebrate this festival of colors with mutual brotherhood and harmony.
The program began with the Town Untari Police Station in-charge, Upendra Kumar, applying abir-gulal (colourful powder) and offering sweets to the attendees. During this time, the atmosphere of the police station was completely filled with colors and joy.
Addressing the program, police station in-charge Upendra Kumar said that Holi is a festival of mutual love, brotherhood and harmony.
On this day, everyone forgets past differences and embraces one another, promoting harmony in society. He appealed to the public to celebrate Holi with peace, harmony, and mutual respect, so that the tradition of brotherhood in society can be further strengthened.
During the Holi Milan celebration, Police Station Officer Upendra Kumar added to the festivities by singing a medley of traditional Holi songs. His songs created an atmosphere that compelled those present to dance and hum along. Police officers and local residents also enjoyed the songs and applauded him.
Many people present at the event said that this was the first time such an event had been held at the Nagar Untari police station. They said that such events are highly commendable for fostering mutual communication and trust between the police and the public. This creates a positive atmosphere in society and strengthens the police-public relationship.
Local people appreciated the initiative of Police Station in-charge Upendra Kumar and said that such events reduce the distance between the police and the public and create a family-like atmosphere.
Throughout the event, the police station premises remained festive. People smeared each other with abir and gulal and celebrated with Holi songs.
On this occasion, Chamber of Commerce President Shambhunath Saudagar, Vice President Hridayananda Kamalapuri, Sanjay Kansakar, Umesh Kumar, Kamlesh Kumar, Sumit Mehta, Ajay Seth, Police Station SI Amit Prashant, Sandeep Kumar Ravi, ASI Rana Sanjay Singh, Sanjay Mahato, Kaushal Kumar Dubey, Bablu Marandi, Avinash Dubey and a large number of people were present.
