Shri Banshidhar Nagar: 45-year-old resident of Bilaspur village

Umesh Paswan, son of Dukha Paswan, was beaten up and thrown into a well by four unidentified criminals on Sunday evening, leaving him seriously injured.

Injured Umesh Paswan is being treated at a private city hospital. In this regard, injured Umesh Paswan said that at around 6:30 in the evening, he was returning home after defecating near the river in the village, when four unknown criminals came from behind, beat him up, tied his hands and legs and threw him into a well with the intention of killing him. Passersby heard the noise and pulled him out of the well and informed his family. On receiving the information, his family admitted him to a private hospital for treatment.
