Unprecedented prices of bananas will be curbed: Dr. Patanjali Kesari.
On Tuesday, social worker and physician Dr. Patanjali Keshari inaugurated Shan Banana Suppliers near Jobardiya turn on Majhiaon Road in Garhwa city by cutting the ribbon. Addressing the inauguration ceremony, he said that during the Chhath festival and other festivals, due to the supply not meeting the demand, the price of bananas would rise unexpectedly, causing inconvenience to the common people.
He said that with the opening of Shan Banana Suppliers in Garhwa, people will now be relieved of this problem. Naturally ripened bananas will be available here, which will benefit people from Garhwa and surrounding remote areas.
He said that around 1500 carats of ripe bananas will always be available in this establishment, which will prove beneficial for both local businesses and consumers.
Mobin Alam, director of Shan Banana Suppliers, explained that the work is being carried out under the supervision of a specialist from Uttar Pradesh. High-quality bananas are imported from Maharashtra and ripened using scientific and natural methods. The bananas are then supplied wholesale to Garhwa and other areas of Palamu, as well as to various locations in Chhattisgarh, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh. He added that arrangements have been made to ensure timely supply at reasonable rates.
On this occasion, Abdul Mannan said that the opening of Shan Banana Suppliers has led to a steady growth in business in the area. He praised the contributions of social worker Dr. Patanjali Keshari and said that it is a privilege for consumers to have access to chemical-free bananas.
Dr. Ravindranath Thakur, Ishtiaq Raza, and other speakers also shared their views at the event. Those present were informed about the work being done at the institute.
