Shivkumari Devi, a resident of Morbe village in the block area, has once again appealed to the Deputy Commissioner after failing to receive justice in a land dispute. She has submitted her application for the third time, demanding fair action in the matter.
In her application, Shivkumari Devi stated that she had purchased approximately 11 decimals of land in account number 92, plot number 614 from Dhananjay Pathak and Dhiraj Pathak, residents of Morbe village. Mahendra Sao had also purchased land adjacent to the same property from the same seller. She alleges that Mahendra Sao encroached on her land and forcibly built a house.
According to the applicant, the government surveyor had her land measured, but she wasn’t given her entire land. She alleged that the actual area was reduced by including a government road in the measurement. Instead of receiving 11,250 square yards of land, she was given only 11,240 square yards. Even that area has been encroached upon and construction has taken place.
Shivkumari Devi also stated that she has been visiting the regional office since the excavation of the land, but has yet to receive justice. She also accused the sellers, Dhananjay Pathak and Dheeraj Pathak, of not cooperating.
The applicant had previously appealed for justice by submitting applications to the Deputy Commissioner on December 8, 2025, January 16, 2026, and January 17, 2026. Deputy Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Yadav repeatedly directed the Majhiaon region to investigate and take action, but no concrete action has been taken so far.
In this matter, instructions were also given to former zonal officer Ramji Prasad Gupta, CO Shambhu Ram, CO Pramod Kumar and present BDO cum CO Mrs. Kanak, but the situation remains the same.
In her application, Shivkumari Devi described herself as extremely poor and said that she was unable to access justice due to her financial constraints. She demanded an impartial investigation and appropriate action from the Deputy Commissioner.
In this regard, BDO cum CO Mrs. Kanak said that the land will be measured again by the zonal Amin next week, after which further action will be ensured.
