Shri Banshidhar Nagar: A meeting was held on Thursday at the Sub-Divisional Civil Court premises regarding the upcoming National Lok Adalat. In the meeting, ADJ-1 Sanjay Kumar and Civil Judge (Senior Division) Rajshree Aparna Kujur discussed with representatives from all banks, the Forest Department, and the Excise Department. The meeting was held at 4 p.m.
It was informed at the meeting that, as directed by the National Legal Services Authority, New Delhi, and the Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority, National Lok Adalats are being organized across the country. Under the auspices of the District Legal Services Authority, Garhwa, and the Sub-Divisional Legal Services Committee, Nagar Untari, the fourth National Lok Adalat will be held on March 14th at the Sub-Divisional Civil Court, Nagar Untari premises.
At the meeting, all bank branch managers were instructed to send notices to their borrowers, informing them to attend the National Lok Adalat, so that they can resolve their loan cases through mutual agreement. Apart from the branch managers of State Bank of India, Bank of India, Central Bank of India (Puraini branch), Canara Bank, people from Forest Department, Excise Department and others were present in the meeting.
