Police personnel in the Nagar police station area of Garhwa district demonstrated their bravery and promptness, averting major incidents by apprehending criminals in two separate incidents. For these commendable actions, all the police officers were honored by the station in-charge.
The first incident occurred on March 24, 2026, when Assistant Sub-Inspector Nand Gopal Ram and Constable 186 Bhaskar Kumar Pathak, deployed on Tiger Mobile duty, displayed indomitable courage and arrested two criminals—Ajit Kumar alias Chhotu and Aditya Kumar—who were plotting a major crime. Police also recovered illegal weapons and ammunition from them.
The second incident occurred on March 28, 2026, when police acted swiftly and apprehended a fleeing suspect after shooting a man in the Nagar Untari police station area. Assistant Sub-Inspector Arun Kumar Yadav, Havildar Jayanath Manjhi, Constable 337 Mohammad Anees Mansuri, and Constable 804 driver Jaishankar Prasad, posted in PCR Charlie-05, displayed bravery and apprehended the suspect.
Recognizing the courage and dedication displayed by the police personnel in both incidents, Garhwa City Police Station in-charge, Police Inspector Sunil Kumar Tiwari, honored them by presenting them with shawls and garlands. The purpose of this felicitation ceremony was to boost the morale of the police force and encourage those who performed outstandingly.
