Garhwa: Vikas Mali, candidate for the post of President in the Garhwa Municipal Council elections, visited various wards of the city as part of his public relations campaign. He visited Chandravanshi Tola in Ward No. 3 and Uchri Mohalla (PD Road) in Ward No. 2, where local women welcomed him and offered financial support.
Local women collectively collected funds and handed them over. They also expressed their expectations regarding infrastructure issues in the area, such as sanitation, streetlights, and assistance to those in need. They expressed their desire to support a representative who would be actively available in the area and strive to address civic issues.
During the outreach program, attendees also discussed issues such as local development, drinking water, roads, and lighting. The candidate listened to people’s concerns and stated that if he were elected to the position of city council president, he would prioritize and strengthen essential amenities at the ward level.
Vikas Mali expressed gratitude for the support provided by the women and called it a symbol of citizen participation in the democratic process. He said that elections are won only with the trust and support of the public and that he favors working together with all sections of the constituency.
This development, coming amid the municipal council elections, underscores the importance of voter participation and public relations campaigns at the local level.
