Garhwa: Today, on February 24, 2026, a delegation of the Daltonganj Chamber of Commerce, Palamu District Business Association met DIG Palamu, Mr. Kaushal Kishore, and discussed the establishment of Daltonganj Chamber of Commerce Joint Secretary Mr. Anoop Kumar Soni in Garhwa, which is run by his uncle and brother. This establishment operates in the name of Mr. Naresh Babu Saraf in Purani Bazar, Garhwa. On February 21, 2026, unknown criminals had hypnotized the shopkeeper and fled with gold jewellery worth more than Rs. 20 lakh from the shop.
The FIR for which was registered in Garhwa police station. In view of the seriousness of this case, a memorandum was given for taking strict action. The Deputy Inspector General of Police, Palamu, assured that a special investigation team would be constituted very soon and prompt action would be taken, and all such cases that have come up in Palamu and Garhwa would be solved as soon as possible. The delegation included Daltonganj Chamber of Commerce President Vinod Udaipuri, Anup Soni, Joint Secretary, Palamu District Business Association General Secretary Shri Anupam Tulsiyan, Engineer Akash Kumar, etc.
