Majhiaon: In the newly built Shiva temple at Chandri.
The Rudra Maha Yagna, organized since February 21st for the installation and consecration of the idol, concluded with a havan on Saturday. This included the consecration of the lingam of Lord Shiva, the installation and consecration of idols of Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha, and other goddess Durga, which were brought from Varanasi. Prior to this, the idol was taken around the city with great pomp and show on Friday. Following this, the purnahuti was performed with a havan on Saturday. As usual, a bhandara was organized today, where thousands of devotees partook of the maha prasad. The saints and sages were bid farewell. The yagna was conducted under the leadership of the yagyacharya, Mahant Shri Shri 1008 Shri Baba Keshav Narayan Das of the Radha Krishna Temple. Acharya Vijaykant Dubey and his associates, Sudhir Shastri, Kundan Shastri, Hari Shastri, Sanjay Shastri, and Kali Temple priest Vinay Pathak, participated in the puja and other rituals. The preachers were Ms. Sadhvi Shivanjali Mishra from Barsana, Anil Mishra from Ayodhya and Shyam Narayanacharya.
The main hosts of the Yagya were Brij Narayan Singh and his wife, Vijay Singh and his wife, Ram Janm Soni and his wife, Dr. Rajnikant Verma and his wife, Suresh Vishwakarma and his wife.
In making this Yagya successful, the cooperation of the committee president Jagannath Prasad, treasurer Mathura Prasad, Sunil Singh, Manu Singh, Subodh Soni, Virendra Soni, Vicky Singh, Sanjeev Singh, Aniket Singh, Sachchidanand Singh, Brajesh Pandey and other devotees was commendable.
