Sagma: A formal ground breaking ceremony was held on Wednesday for the construction of the Sun Temple in Ghagri village under Sagma block of Garhwa district.
In the program, Mahant Swami Avdhesh Das Ji Maharaj, who came from Prayagraj Ganga bank Arail, performed Bhoomi Pujan and installation of Dharma Dhwaj at the temple construction site on the banks of the village pond.
Hira Charan Yadav, a resident of Ghaghri village, was present as the chief host along with his wife. The groundbreaking ceremony was conducted in the presence of Acharya Pandit Sudhanshu Mishra and Swami Avadhesh Das.
Following the groundbreaking ceremony, a huge Hanuman flag was installed at the construction site. The villagers were particularly enthusiastic on this occasion.
On the occasion, President Ashok Ram (Chief Representative), Vice President Abhishek Raj, Treasurer Ajit Kumar Yadav, Deputy Treasurer Sanjay Kumar Yadav, Secretary Bimalesh Kumar Yadav, Deputy Secretary Bablu Kumar, Committee Manager Santosh Kumar Yadav, Patron Abhimanyu Kumar Yadav, Lal Mohan Prasad Yadav, Lal Mohan Gupta, Abhimanyu Prasad Yadav, Rameshwar Prasad Yadav and Sagar Vishwakarma along with other villagers associated with the temple construction committee were present.
