Majhiaon: On Tuesday, Block Development Officer (BDO) Rakesh Sahay conducted a surprise inspection of the nationalized Plus Two High School located at the Kandi block headquarters to review the school’s arrangements. He became very angry at the chaos he encountered during the inspection and reprimanded the teachers.
During the inspection, indiscipline was clearly visible in the school. Many students were found playing on the campus, abandoning their studies, while some teachers were sitting outside in the sun, checking answer sheets instead of teaching. The BDO’s anger grew when he found many classrooms empty. He immediately summoned the acting headmaster, Niranjan Sahu, and other teachers and gave them a thorough class.
BDO Rakesh Sahay sternly stated that schools are centers of education and will not be allowed to become a den of negligence at any cost. He instructed teachers to attend classes on time and provide quality education to students.
During the inspection, he also inspected the school’s basic facilities. He inquired about the drinking water problem from the students and management. The BDO assured them that the issue would be resolved soon so that the students would not face any difficulties.
He issued a clear warning that any negligence in the educational system would not be tolerated. Following this surprise inspection, other government schools and offices in the area were also in a state of panic.
