25 students at Bana High School were denied their ninth-grade final exams and protested at the school.

Meral: Twenty-five students at Bana High School were denied their ninth-grade final exams. They allege they paid a fine of ₹900 to register, but were denied admit cards, preventing them from taking the exam.

On Friday, students who were denied exams reached Bana High School and protested. Several parents were also present with them. The students who were denied exams include Priya Kumari, Sushma Kumari, Anjali Kumari, Aarti Kumari, Usha Kumari, Amarnath Kumar, Vakil Kumar, and others. The students reported that the total 25 students included 14 boys and 11 girls.

During the protest, Deputy Chief Bhola Paswan, Arun Kumar Das, Mujahid Ansari, Dheeraj Paswan, Indrajit Kumar, and others stated that due to the school management’s negligence, the students were deprived of the exam. This has wasted a year and affected their future. Parents demanded that the District Education Officer investigate the matter and take action against the culprits.

According to the information, a total of 283 students are enrolled in class 9th.

When asked about this, acting headmaster Asif Hussain said that he would only comment on the matter after receiving permission from the education department. He also declined to provide information about the total number of ninth-grade students. School clerk Avinash Kumar stated that he had been authorized to fill out ninth-grade forms, but due to a technical glitch, he was unable to fill out the forms for students who missed the exam. He stated that he takes written responsibility for any students who missed the exam.

In this regard, District Education Officer Kaiser Raja said that the matter of students being deprived of the examination is serious and it will be investigated immediately.
