Majhiaon: Grand procession was taken out on Saturday for the Sri Rudra Maha Yagna and Shiva Pran Pratishtha organized at the ancient Shiva temple located at Chandri in the block area. Organized under the leadership of Yagyacharya Sri Sri 1008 Sri Baba Keshav Narayan Das Ji Maharaj, this procession attracted a historic crowd of male and female devotees carrying 5,051 urns.
Riding a decorated chariot, Baba Keshav Narayan Das led the Kalash Yatra. Devotees carrying Mahaveeri flags joined in amid loud fanfare and devotional chants. Chants of “Har Har Mahadev” and “Jai Shri Ram” filled the entire area with devotion.
The Jalayatra began at the Yagna site and reached the Bullock Cart Ghat of the Koel River via Block Road, Raisua Lohar Purva, Old Hospital, Main Road, and the bus stand. There, Acharya Vijaykant Dubey filled all the Kalash with water while chanting Vedic mantras. The devotees then returned to the Yagna site, where the Kalash were installed amidst a historic crowd.
After the program, a feast was organized, in which thousands of devotees took Mahaprasad. Mathura Prasad of the Yagya Committee informed that this Mahayagna, which began on February 21st, will conclude with the Purnahuti on February 28th. On Saturday, February 28th, in the Taurus ascendant, a program of Pran Pratishtha, Purnahuti, Bhandara and farewell of saints and sages will be organized.
Acharya Vijaykant Dubey’s associates, Sudhir Shastri, Kundan Shastri, Hira Shastri, Sanjay Shastri, Vinay Pathak, and a large number of male and female devotees participated in the Jalayatra. An atmosphere of enthusiasm and devotion was felt throughout the region regarding the event.
