Banshidhar Nagar (Garhwa): Raghuvar Das visited the historic Shri Banshidhar Temple on Wednesday. Here, amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras by the temple priest Chandrashekhar Tiwari and other learned pundits, he performed the ritualistic worship and aarti of Lord Krishna, Mother Radha, and other deities.
The temple committee honored Raghuvar Das by presenting him with a sash with the words “Radhe-Radhe” written on it and a picture of Lord Krishna and Mother Radha. BJP workers also presented him with a flute, a peacock feather, and a picture of Radha and Krishna.
Raghuvar Das said that by visiting the historic and mythological Shri Banshidhar Temple, he received the blessings of Radha and Krishna. He prayed for the overall welfare of Jharkhand, happiness and prosperity for the four crore people of the state, peace and tranquility, and the continued progress of the state.
On this occasion, MP Vishnu Dayal Ram, Daltonganj MLA Alok Chaurasia, former minister Ramchandra Keshari, Bhanu Pratap Shahi, BJP district president Uday Kushwaha along with Sharda Mahesh Pratap Dev, Raghuraj Pandey, Mukesh Choubey, Omprakash Gupta, Rekha Devi, Kumar Kanishka, Mathura Ram and a large number of BJP workers were present.
