Majhiaon: The final match of the Panchayat level cricket tournament was played between the team of Bidanda and the team of Jahar Sarai at the Surya Dev Parehiya tribal playground of Jahar Sarai under Rampur Panchayat of the block area. In which the chief guest was local MLA Naresh Prasad Singh. Giving information in this regard, Mukhiya representative Ramesh Paswan said that this match was organized by the Mukhiya Kumari of the Karta Panchayat. While this game was presided over by ward member Dharmendra Singh. This cricket tournament match was inaugurated at the Panchayat level on Sunday, 1 February.
In which 6 Panchayat level teams participated and the teams of Bidanda and Jahar Sarai entered the final match, which was played on Saturday. While winning the toss, Jahar Sarai’s team batted and scored 123 runs on 7 wickets. While chasing the target, Bidanda’s team was all out on 76 runs. In this way Jahar Sarai’s team won the match. While the runner up was given the trophy and prize money by the special guests, the winning team was given a glittering trophy and cash prize by the local MLA Naresh Prasad Singh. During this, MLA Naresh Prasad Singh, while addressing the people, first of all praised the head of the Panchayat, Kumari Chhaya and her representative Ramesh Kumar Paswan and said that it is a matter of great happiness that the head and his representatives very wisely gave the opportunity to all the players of their own Panchayat level to play in this match, which is praiseworthy, because they gave the opportunity to their Panchayat level players to showcase their games, victory and defeat keep happening, while praising the game of the players of both the winning and runner-up teams, he said that this proved that even in the primitive tribal dominated area of this Panchayat, there were many hidden participants who showed their talent by playing in this match, told all the players that along with education, sports are also important, through sports we can bring glory to Jharkhand including our district.
MLA Shri Singh also said that before becoming MLA, he had constructed this playground from his own pocket and some conspirators had tried to create obstacles in it, but I got the playground constructed and promised further cooperation.
Firoz Ansari and Deepak Kumar acted as umpires, Radheshyam Singh and Nafees Ansari provided commentary, and Nayaz Ahmed did the scoring.
